MEMBLOW SERIES

MEMCO Offers its MEMBLOW series (our stretch blow molding machines), which successfully combines the proven simplicity and reliability with the most recent developments in the PET processing technology. User- friendly controls, high productivity, reduced maintenance and operating costs are part of the attractiveness of our MEMBLOW series.
Process Description
Preform Ioading:
The preforms are conveyed from a large capacity hopper to the automatic unscrambler where they are oriented. From the unscrambler, they travel down the support rails by gravity. At the end, a robot places the preforms upside down onto the pins of the preform carriers.
Preform transferring:
The preform carriers are fixed on a heavy duty chain, so that the distance between them remains constant. The chain transfer achieved by a special indexing gear which guarantees high precision and repeatability.
Preform heating:
The heating process of the preform takes place in heating zones, each individually controlled by a thyristor unit. The constant rotation of the preforms guarantees perfect penetration of the heat and an efficient airflow system inside the ovens avoids excessive temperatures on the external walls of the preform.
Clamping & stretch- blowing:
A proven proportional hydraulic system controls the mould opening and closing. The axial stretching effect is carried out by hydraulically driven stretch rod, while radial stretching is achieved by a two- stage blowing process with compressed air. The arrangement ensures optimum material distribution throughout the bottles' walls.
Bottles unloading:
Finished Bottles are picked up by special grippers incorporated with ejecting device and they can be fed to the air conveyor (filling machine) or to a storage silo.
